Community Education Workshops
The Gardens at HCP offers great Community Education workshops for everyone, from landscape professionals to hobbyist gardeners. We offer a wide range of topics including pruning, basket weaving, flower arranging and more. Many classes are taught in the gardens themselves and give students the opportunity for hands on learning. HCP Members receive a discounted rate on all of our workshops. One of our most popular workshops is Year Round Harvest with Linda Gilkeson. The mild winters of Coastal British Columbia make it possible to grow and harvest vegetables all year around. In 10 sessions, Linda Gilkeson will cover from seeds to harvest for large and small urban gardens. Click for more information on Linda Gilkeson’s Year Round Harvest Workshop.
