Since The Gardens began in 1979, The Horticulture Centre of The Pacific has grown into a 3.5 hectare public garden and conservation park for our community. We strive to be a center for education, conservation and cultivation in our community.
Through the years, community members have supported The Gardens with time, energy, and resources - all of which have kept The Gardens thriving. For the many people involved, we are beyond grateful to the care that goes into these lands. One of our annual fundraisers, Keep the Flowers Blooming, is actively reaching out to our garden community to help us continue growing. The ongoing support from this community makes these Gardens a place that people can continue to celebrate and cherish.
Through a grant, this year we were able to purchase a new tractor to support the garden staff and college students. We still need to raise the remaining funds for this project. The tractor project is one of The Gardens' many projects and we look forward to seeing how The Gardens continue to bloom.
