Ron Cox
Ron Cox, a resident of Victoria since 1981, is a management consultant and passionate gardener. Professionally he advises organizations on strategy and information technology investments. His work has given him the opportunity to travel across Canada, the US, Europe and Asia. While working in England for 6 years, Ron and his wife Beverly developed their passion for gardening.
Ron and his wife have slowed down their consulting life recently to focus on personal interests, including learning, travel, gardening and contributing to the community.
Ron was a board member of the Victoria YM-YWCA for 7 years where he led strategy planning workshops and changes to board governance. He was also actively involved in fund raising, including annual campaigns, capital campaigns and the Y endowment program. Ron was on the HCP Board from 2007 to 2010. He travelled to Europe. He rejoined the Board in 2013. Ron is Chair of the Building Committee that has overseen the technical development of the Couvelier Pavilion.
