Learn to select trees that will compliment your garden and not outgrow their space which can be inconvenient and costly to correct. This workshop will be a guided walk through the Gardens at HCP with Diane Pierce, college instructor and plant expert. Diane will point out introduced and native trees which are well suited to the urban garden and which add colour and contrast. After the walk, participants will spend time in the classroom learning specifics about small trees which they can apply to their own garden plans.
