Celebrating 30 Years – Pacific Horticulture College

2017 is an exciting year for PHC, marking 30 years of excellence in horticulture education. To celebrate this milestone, we are holding an event at the gardens on Sunday September 17 from 1 to 4pm where current and past students, instructors, staff, board members, and other industry partners can drop by and mingle. Please RSVP to [email protected] if you plan to join us on this special day.
Also coming up soon, PHC is holding an info session for the full-time Landscape Horticulture Certificate Program that starts in January 2018. This one-hour session on September 25 at 6pm will provide attendees with information about the program and the career options, with the opportunity to meet instructors and view the gardens. The application deadline for the 2018 program is November 1, 2017, making this info session a great opportunity for people to learn more before submitting their application package. Everyone is welcome!
In addition to the full-time program that runs every year, PHC also offers full-time and part-time Level 3 and 4 Technical Training for those who want to further their horticulture education and work towards achieving their Red Seal in the trade. The next Level 4 program runs part-time from August 8 to December 14, 2017, while the next Level 3 program runs full-time from November 20, 2017 to January 12, 2018 (with 2 weeks off for holidays in between).
