Adopt-A-Tree Program

Adopt-A-Tree Program

Cost: $2,000 Tax receipts will be issued to each donor. A plaque inscribed with the botanical and common names of the tree and the dedication will be placed on the tree. Dedicatory text is limited to statements such as “Adopted by”, “Adopted for”, “Given by”, “Given for”, “For”, or “In Memory Of” followed by the name of the person for whom the tree is adopted.

Trees are adopted for a period of 20 years. In the unlikely event that a tree dies within that time, it will be replaced with a new specimen. The choice of the replacement tree will be at the discretion of the Garden management. During the adoption period, labels will be replaced if lost or damaged. After 20 years, the donor(s) will be contacted to determine if the adoption of the tree will be renewed.

For this reason it is important to keep the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific informed of any change of contact name, address and/or telephone number. Click here to download a printable mail in form.
