PHC – Pacific Horticulture College 2024

Everyone at the Pacific Horticulture College enjoyed a warm and celebratory Graduation ceremony on November 15th, where students were granted not only their certificates, but also some notable awards. These achievements include the Joyce Parker Plant ID award, a Top Attendance Award, an Excellence in Design Award, the Jill Stewart Bowen Scholarship and a new award called the Russell Nursery Citizenship award in honor of Sue Tice. These awards have contributed to our growing success and we’d like to formally thank all of those for helping us celebrate the achievements of our students. In current news, our Level 3 students just wrapped up their program on December 6th, and our part-time Level 2 students will be finishing their program on December 12th. As for our upcoming Full Time Landscape Certificate Program starting January 20th, 2025. There are 5 spots remaining and applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible!. PHC College places great importance on community engagement and service. Next year, as a part of our mandate and strategic plan, PHC would like to become more involved in stewardship and giving back, as such, we are looking for schools and assisted living offsite projects to give back to our community. These efforts not only give back to the community but also provide valuable hands-on experience for our students. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

• 15 students Graduated from the full-time Landscape Horticulture Certificate Program.

Enrolment

• 18 students in the part-time Level 2 program that started 6 August 2024

• 21 students in the full-time Level 3 program that started 28 October 2024 

• 12 enrolments for the 2025 Level 1 Apprenticeship Program starting 21 January 2025

• 17 enrolments for the 2025 full-time Landscape Horticulture Certificate Program starting 20 January 2025.

•  22 enrolments for the Level 4 Apprenticeship Program starting 2 February 2025
