Brian White

Chair

Brian is a senior environmental engineer who works with McElhanney from their Victoria office and delivers infrastructure projects across Greater Victoria, Vancouver Island and Western Canada. In his volunteering, Brian has been the President of the BC Environmental Industry Association, Member of the Advocacy Committee Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, Current Chair of the industry Advisor Committee for BCIT Environmental Engineering Technology Program, Chair for the HCP Board, and Committee Member for Christ Church Cathedral's Building for the Future Project. He also volunteers by mentoring engineering students, guest speaking to community groups about engineering's role, and assisting with local fundraising events. Brian believes giving back to his community with time, energy and commitment to provide opportunities for others to make a meaningful impact in their work. Brian's passion for the environment and gardening stems from the lessons learned with his grandparents on his family's farms as a child. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his daughters, partner Jennifer, and their furry family friends.
