This garden occupies the semi-circular beds edging the Gathering Place and the much larger semi-circular beds at the foot of the steps descending toward the Great Lawn.
These are transition beds between the formal HCP gardens and the sloped lawns falling away to reveal the southern view across the water of Viaduct Flats and the Conservation Park and beyond. These beds create a wonderful framework for wedding ceremonies and photographs.
The beds were designed with the bridal theme in mind. Shrubs, perennials, and annuals were chosen for an extended summer season of white blooms and mixed neutral tones of foliage.
