In this workshop we will explore small scale basketry techniques which are well suited to jewelry and basketry forms.  In this workshop, we will make two projects. First you will learn to make a miniature basket by twining and plaiting bark and waxed linen thread and secondly a small pouch made with knot-less netting using waxed linen thread. A variety of patterns and design possibilities will be on hand for inspiration.  Please bring a pair of scissors with a sharp point like embroidery scissors, ruler, spray bottle and old towel. We will run a second workshop on Saturday, November 3 if this date fills up, so please add your name to the interest if the class is full.
