Applicants must meet the following admission requirements:
- Grade 11 English and Math completed with a minimum grade of C, OR minimum 70% grade on the English and/or Math assessment test(s), OR completion of post-secondary English and Math*
- Minimum 19 years of age or signed parental consent
- Physical readiness to fully participate in all aspects of the program**
- *Please note that an English assessment test may be required of those students for whom English is not a first language.
- **Medical documentation may be required for some individuals at the discretion of the College Director.
Additionally, each applicant must:
- Submit a complete application package (see below)
- Attend a personal interview

Pacific Horticulture College Application Package Requirements:
Applicants are required to complete and submit the following:
- Application Form
- Transcript
- Official original hardcopy of high school and/or post-secondary transcripts demonstrating that English 11 and Math 11 requirements are met
- Letter of Intent
- A letter stating your career objectives and your expectations upon graduation
- Résumé
- Two Reference Letters
- One reference letter must be from a previous employer or supervisor and must be signed and include contact information
- Application Fee
- A $50.00 non-refundable application fee
Any incomplete application forms or documentation will not be considered.
Submission of the Application Package:
The application package can be submitted by email, mail, or in-person. The official original transcript must be a hardcopy or electronically submitted from the Ministry of Education directly to Pacific Horticulture College.
Submission of the Application Fee:
The application fee can be paid in person, over the phone, by mail or by e-transfer. Contact the college for additional information if required.
Upon Completion of the Application Package:
Once the completed application package is received the applicant will be invited to an interview either in person or over the telephone/video call. Successful applicants will be selected based on both the application package and the outcome of the interview.
Successful Acceptance:
If accepted to the program, the successful applicant will be required review an updated Student Handbook, sign an enrollment contract and submit a $450 program deposit to secure a seat in the program.
Applicant Space in the Program is confirmed with the following:
- A completed and signed contract is returned
- A $180.00 registration fee is paid
- A tuition payment of $270.00 is received
