Jo Wyld
Instructor
Background:
After a career in Electronics and years of growing tomatoes on the balcony in Victoria’s temperate climate, I decided to pursue horticulture as a career. After taking the full-time PHC program, my fellow graduate and former rugby teammate Nicole Yano and I started WY Yards & Gardens. In addition to working on all kinds/sizes of local properties, I spent five years as the Head Gardener at Abkhazi Gardens, a public garden in Fairfield, before becoming an instructor at PHC. Outside of gardening, I am a long-standing member of James Bay Athletic Association where I played and coached rugby. I am an enthusiastic member of several local garden clubs and love my work.
