This is a great time to be in your garden! Even though we are closed to visitors, you can still order all the plants you need, then pick them up from our location, 505 Quayle Rd.
Please Note: There is a minimum purchase of $30.

Vehicle Pick-up Program is open Wednesday – Friday 10am –3pm starting April 22

We will call you to set up your pick-up time with 24 hours of receiving your order. (If you place your order on Saturday or Sunday, you will receive a call on Monday.) It is important to be on time for your appointment.
Once you are here, you will be instructed on where to park, and your order will be loaded in your vehicle for you.

How our Vehicle Pick-up Program works

 

PLACE YOUR ORDER

Place your order online before you arrive either online or by phone. Orders open on April 20 at 9am.

How to Order Online

If you are a member:
Please click here to log in and then select Plant Sale and Gift Shop from the dropdown list. (Available on April 20 when online orders open.)
This will automatically apply your member discount to your order. (The discount shows up as small red “Sale” tags).
Click on an item and then follow the prompts to place your order and process your payment. Tax is added at check out.
Once you have ordered, a friendly staff member from the HCP will call you to set your scheduled pick-up time.

How to Order by Phone
Phone orders open on April 20th and continue Monday to Friday – 9am – 3pm.
Please phone the HCP at 250-479-6162 to place your order.

HOW TO GET HERE

If coming from West Saanich Road: Please proceed past the main entrance and down Quayle Road to Gate 4 (Polyhouse entrance on left).
If you are coming from Interurban Road: You will see Gate 4 on your right hand side after you come up the first hill.

RECEIVING YOUR ORDER

Your order will be confirmed and you will be instructed on where to park. Please proceed with caution!
Once you have parked, please pop your trunk or similar and your order will be placed inside. (For everyone’s safety, please remain in your vehicle at all times)
Please ensure you have placed a box, tarp or bag to place the plants in/on if you are concerned about your vehicle’s upholstery.
Once you have received your order, you will proceed back up to the gate, your order checked again and then you are off to plant your new beauties!

To keep our crew and community safe we have implemented certain changes over this last month and want to keep you updated.  To answer your most asked questions we’ve created this FAQ. How does your Pick-Up Program work?

Will I receive confirmation after ordering online?
Yes, absolutely! You will get an email confirming your order was received by us. We will contact you to schedule your pickup time.

Can I add or change something to my order after it’s placed?
No. We have a very small staff and are unable to add to or make changes to orders.

How long until you call me to pick-up my order?
We will call you to schedule your pick-up time within 24 hours of receiving your order. (If you place your order on Saturday or Sunday, you will receive a call on Monday.) Pick-up days are currently Wednesday to Friday 10am – 3pm.

Can I call in and place my order?
Yes! Please call the office 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday at 250-479-6162 starting on April 20.

How much time do I have to come in and pick-up my order?
You will be contacted to set your appointment. We have limited space, and also a very small staff at the moment. Please let us know if you need to schedule your pick-up outside of normal pick up hours and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can you answer my gardening and plant questions?
We love to hear from fellow gardeners and discuss your plant and garden questions and problems, however because of the current circumstances we are going to be a bit slower in responding. We do not have as many staff available to answer your questions and may not be able to get back to you quickly. We apologize for the delay. For questions please click here.

When will you be reopening for walk-ins?
We are monitoring the situation closely and will reopen when we feel it is safe for our staff and community. We will be sure to make announcements on our website and social media when we do, so that everyone is aware. We can’t wait to see you all again!

What are your hours of operation now?
Our pick-up program is currently running Wednesday to Friday 10am – 3pm
