About the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific
Since 1979, the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific (HCP) has evolved from a volunteer-led garden to a multi-dimensional not-for-profit society that promotes education, community, and environmental stewardship. Composed of nine acres of cultivated gardens and over one hundred acres of conservation lands, HCP continues to grow and bring newcomers into an active and committed community. HCP’s educational, community, and cultural initiatives are made possible by our dedicated volunteer base.
Position Requirements
- Interest in landscaping, gardening, horticulture, environmental studies, or outdoor work.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized.
- Previous landscaping or gardening experience is an asset but not required.
