Open Weave Twined Baskets
**Registration opens Sat. Mar. 28 at noon**
Come explore the art of Open Weave Twining using a variety of dyed rattan vine, with instructor Joan Carrigan.
In this workshop, we’ll experiment with two different basket styles. We’ll start with creating a round
open-weave basket— perfect for storing garlic, onions, fruit, or other kitchen treasures. Then
we’ll move on to a versatile wall pouch that can be hung for display and storage or adapted into
a small purse.
The variety of organic shapes these baskets offer provide plenty of room for creativity and play.
Your registration includes admission to The Gardens at HCP - bring your lunch and enjoy the grounds.
